Professional Learning and Training

Harmony Project is proud to debut our year-long series dedicated to ensuring arts educators across Los Angeles and California have access to the tools they need to empower their students and be successful in the classroom.

For the past few years, we have focused on creating professional learning communities and training for our own teaching artists. Now we are virtually opening up our doors to share knowledge and learn alongside educators across the country. We are supported in part by the California Arts Council, a state agency. • “I really enjoyed attending all of the meetings as they help me learn to think and develop my tools for the classroom!”

  • “Thank you so much for providing all of the professional development on anti-racism, and for embracing a new and developing vision for Harmony Project. Please continue doing them.”

  • “Thanks for hosting great PDs! Other nonprofit orgs I've been a part of have been "trying" to work towards arts/education equity, but none have provided the wealth of … PDs that helped me further those goals in my own self and teaching.”

  • “Harmony Project did a great job with organizing the meetings and a lot of thought was put into the presentations.”
